Rustic handcrafted old world charm comes to life in the Provincial Collection. These elegant (roll top) wall mount mailboxes are handcrafted one at a time from heavy gauge brass and copper in the old world tradition. Note the brass mailboxes have a lacquer finish to help protect them. To help preserve the polished finishes, we reccommend a clear, no buff car wax. Clean the mailbox periodically with warm soapy water and a soft cloth, rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Then apply no buff car wax. The rustic antique hammered finish is hand hammered, scuffed, and buffed. Please note that this finish may show some scuff (sanding) marks. This is part of the rustic character of this finish and is not a defect.
Hammered Brass
Made from quality materials and manufactured in England. The front letter plate is made from solid brass and coated in a choice of black, brushed chrome or antique copper. The rear casting (including the door) is made in English foundries from solid LM6 grade aluminum. The inner compartment sleeve is manufactured from sturdy zintec coated steel, and internal components are made from solid brass or stainless steel. For long life, all metal components are phosphate coated before being finished in a durable top quality low bake enamel finish. The castings have rubber seals to ensure your mailbox is completely waterproof. The lock is made from tough black polycarbonate.
